My stay at Hakuna Matata was great. The newly renovated showers were amazing and the host was really accommodating, allowing us to leave our belongings after check-out. The location was convenient, close to a beach and with easy access to public transportation. The small kitchen was a bonus for cooking. I had a pleasant experience and would recommend this hostel.
The window in our private room didn't close properly, which made us feel a bit uneasy about security. Additionally, there were some organizational issues upon arrival, with multiple room changes.

For the price we paid, our stay at Hakuna Matata was definitely worth it. The room was clean and comfortable, and even though it didn't have air conditioning, the three fans provided kept us cool throughout our stay. The location was perfect, just a short 10-minute walk to the old town. The staff, especially Antonio, was lovely and attentive, always ready to help and provide recommendations. I highly recommend this hostel for its welcoming atmosphere and friendly staff.
The morning meal could be improved with a better variety of options.

the staff at Hakuna Matata were extremely kind and hospitable, always ready to be at my disposal. the hostel was clean and fragrant, and I highly recommend it for those who value comfort, peace, and a good atmosphere at home. the check-in process was easy, and the room itself was clean and had a functioning AC. the bunk beds were solid, and there was ample locker space. the hostel is conveniently located near old town, making it an easy and enjoyable walk.
The soundproof door in the room was a nice bonus, and although the kitchen looked nice, I didn't have the chance to use it. Cons: Can't fault the property in any way!

Great location, close to old town and a nice walk. Self check-in system, no need to wait for admin staff. Good facilities, including a kitchen and hot showers.
Unisex showers with limited privacy, making it difficult to get changed comfortably. Some furniture in the room was old and uncomfortable.

We had an amazing stay at this hostel! The team was super friendly and welcoming. They even offered us a refreshing drink on our first night and a delicious orange juice on the second evening. The staff also gave us great advice on where to enjoy the best sunset, and we absolutely loved the road leading up to the panoramic view. The bathroom, despite being next to the kitchen, was well-designed and functional. The showers were new, clean, and very convenient. we found the accommodations to be comfortable and practical. Despite some noise and light at night, it was a great address to stay at. We will definitely have wonderful memories of our time here. Thanks, guys, for providing us with such enjoyable moments!
In terms of safety and complaints, we felt quite secure during our stay.

I had a comfortable stay at this hostel. The beds were cozy and the bathrooms were clean. The owner, Antonio, was extremely helpful and reasonable. He even refunded me for an extra day I had mistakenly booked. The property is well-maintained by a cleaning lady who comes daily. The location is convenient, as it is on the main street and next to a bus stop for easy transportation. The hostel also has a well-equipped kitchen and spotless showers and toilets.
There was nothing I didn't like.

I got great value for my money at Hakuna Matata! The room was comfortable with a small fridge and a big mirror. The location was perfect, not too far from the central garage and there was parking available. The staff were super friendly and gave me great advice for watching the sunset. The showers were clean and practical, and the common seating space was spacious. I had a wonderful time thanks to the team at Hakuna Matata!
The only thing that could make breakfast better would be more variety in the food options.

The location of the hostel was also convenient, making it easy to explore the city. The bed was comfortable and the hostel was kept clean.
While there were a few drawbacks, such as difficulty in finding the hostel and the lack of a secure lock on the front door, these were minor inconveniences. I would recommend this hostel for its friendly staff, comfortable accommodations, and convenient location.

The location of the hostel is convenient, as it is not far from the central garage and has a parking area in front. It is also within walking distance to both the bus station and the old town. the air conditioning in the rooms works well, keeping the rooms cool even in hot weather. the hostel provides a small fridge in the room and a spacious common seating area.
The hostel staff is reportedly absent and unhelpful at times.
